LACONIA WALKING & ACTIVITY GUIDE
The City of Laconia now has a walking and activity guide for our residents
to be fit in Laconia.
The guide shows walking routes from each of our park
houses and activities offered in each park
and the Laconia Community Center. The guide may be picked up at Laconia Parks & Recreation office
during normal
office hours (8:30am-12:00 / 1:00-4:30pm).

BEACHES

Elementary Open Gym
Starting October 8th, Wednesdays from 3:00-4:15pm and early release day

Come have some fun playing all different types of games and arts n crafts.
Parents may drop kids off to play.
Middle School Open Gym
Starting October 6th, Mondays & Tuesdays from 2:30-4:15

Gather up your friends and let's play some basketball.
This is not structured or a league-just fun.
High School Open Gym
Starting October 9th , Thursdays & Fridays from
2:30-4:15

This is for those who don't want a structured league, but love to play.
YOUTH KARATE
Friday evenings, starting October 10th from 5:30-6:30pm
Cost: $35 per month, Ages 6-12

DECEMBER VACATION CAMP
Date : December 29-January 2 (not January 1st)
Location: Laconia Community Center
Cost: $120.00 per child-field trips included
Field Trips: Laconia Ice Arena, Gunstock Inn and Smitties Cinema
We will be doing arts-n-crafts, playing in the gym, going on field trips
and generally having fun. Sign up as soon as possible. Space is limited.
APRIL VACATION CAMP
Date: April 27-May 1st
Location: Laconia Community Center
Cost: $130.00 per child-field trips included
Field trips: Bounce U in Bedford, Smitties Cinema and Hiking Lockes Hill
We will be doing arts-n-crafts, playing in the gym, going on field trips
and generally having fun. Sign up as soon as possible. Space is limited.
HORSEBACK RIDING CLASSES
At Murray Hill Farm
Mondays from 5:00-6:00pm or Saturdays from 10:00-11:00am or 11:00-12:00
Ages 6 and up; Cost: $90.00 for 4 classes
Semi-Private, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5-6pm. Cost $110.00 for 4
classes.
This program will include all the steps you need for riding including preparing
your horse for the ride and grooming.

CROSS COUNTRY SKI

This will be 4 class for beginners. Weather permitting!
Must be at Piche's at 9:00am to pick up equipment.
